The Bible says that we are to give thanks in every circumstance of life that we face. We have provided a Daily Gratitude Form for you to download and use as a tool of reflection.
Please spend five minutes each day writing down blessings, people, problems, or events for which you’re grateful. As you go through this next week, consciously finish this sentence, “I’m thankful for. . .” Then mention a specific person, problem, or blessing for which you’re thankful. Say this about anything that happens to you. Yes, even your problems. As you develop this attitude of gratitude, you’ll be amazed at how it turns even seeming negative challenges into blessings.
More than this—it prepares your mind to cut out negative clutter, focus on positives, and to gain the most from you daily walk with Christ. You’ll learn to focus your mind on the things that you truly desire in your life and devotion to Jesus Christ. Remember Philippians 4:8ff states: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things...And the God of peace will be with you."
