At Paloma Community Church, we place a high priority on worship. Bible teacher and author, Warren Wiersbe, describes worship as "An outward reaction to an inward motion." We like that definition at Paloma because God desires to work in us so that He can can work through us. God wants to use each of us to fulfill His plan of redemption!
Our goal as a ministry team is to experience deep, personal worship as we lead our congregation into worship on Sundays and throughout our weeks. Worship is contagious and as our team worships in our music, we pray it leads others into the same spirit of extravagant worship to our Holy Father.
The messages in our songs are simple, yet full of God’s hope and truth based on biblical principals. Our style is contemporary, mixed with traditional, as we know there are many ways to express our worship musically. We operate with a full band and singers. Our ministry is open to people who desire to be involved sharing their gifts in the form of musical worship.
Public worship gives us the opportunity to clear our minds of all of the cares of our world and focus on the person of Jesus Christ, the glory of our God and the power of the Holy Spirit. The music, the revelation of truth, and the fellowship of the believers within the body of Christ at Paloma, are all components of worship. There is something to be said for leaving our cares for a brief moment and focusing on the One True God!
